Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an inventory control professional based in Merritt Island, FL, to support warehousing operations for space program materials. This role will manage receipt processing, stocking, and distribution to manufacturing, while maintaining accuracy and safety in a fast-paced setting.

You will handle PO receipts, daily stock activities, and cycle counts, contributing to a culture of inclusion and high-quality workmanship as part of Blue Origin Operations.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years inventory control experience including handling, inventory and handling of energetic systems, hazardous waste materials and raw metals
• Mathematical skills including calculating percentages, area, circumference, volume, and conversion of Units of Measure and Weights
• Ability to safely drive a forklift and perform elevated work
• A demeanor of world-class quality, attention to detail, and dedication
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Responsibilities

• Process Purchase Order receipts, including uploading documentation.
• Perform daily stocking activities.
• Fulfillment of Work Order hardware & support equipment requirements
• Collect and prepare for the shipment of items out of plant
• Delivery of hardware, kits, or support equipment to manufacturing
• Perform weekly cycle counts
• Maintaining stocking areas to accommodate adjusting volumes and storage requirements as driven by production activity
• Identifying opportunities for improvement in stocking and material handling processes
• Safely and Securely handling product with a forklift and/or pallet jack
