Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a detail-oriented supply chain professional to support manufacturing and materials planning across our facilities. This hands-on role coordinates production schedules, material availability, and interdepartmental activities to ensure on-time delivery of components for space launch vehicles and systems.

The position requires 2+ years in supply chain, proficiency with MRP/ERP, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years supply chain experience.
• Experience with Materials Requirement Planning (MRP).
• Experience with planning and scheduling activities.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent computer skills with MS Office.
• ERP experience with MRP execution desired.
• Excellent written/verbal communications skills.
• Lean/Six Sigma principles/DFSS/Lean design/Value Stream/Kaizen knowledge.

Responsibilities

• A shift Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm.
• Evaluate manufacturing schedule and coordinate material availability and flow to meet customer requirements.
• Perform shop order release/closure in MRP system and reconcile parts.
• Provide detailed status of work in progress and communicate constraints to schedule.
• Prepare work orders for production of parts based on master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements.
• Coordinate interdepartmental activity with warehouse, inspection, quality, operations, purchasing, engineering, logistics and program.
• Schedule and expedite movement of parts via move orders, stock transfers, and shipping requests.
• Work cross-functionally to expedite material shortages with procurement, receiving, quality, and production.
