Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a skilled supply chain professional to manage material flow, schedule production, and coordinate cross-functional activities across manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams. This role supports multiple production areas and requires strong ERP/MRP expertise and attention to detail.

The position emphasizes continuous improvement, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration to meet customer requirements while ensuring on-time delivery and efficient plant

Qualifications

• 2+ years supply chain experience.
• Experience with Materials Requirement Planning (MRP).
• Experience with planning and/or scheduling activities.
• Experience working with a cross functional team.
• Excellent computer skills with MS Office; ERP experience with MRP execution desired.
• Excellent written/verbal communications skills.
• Lean, Six Sigma, DFSS/Lean design principles, Value Stream and Kaizen experience.
• Flexible to work varied shifts, overtime, weekends and travel.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate manufacturing schedule and coordinate the availability and flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements.
• Release/close shop orders in the MRP system and reconcile parts.
• Provide detailed status of work in progress and communicate constraints to schedule.
• Prepare work orders for production based on master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements.
• Coordinate interdepartmental activity with warehouse, inspection, quality, operations, purchasing, engineering, logistics and program.
• Schedule and expedite movement of parts via move orders, stock transfers and shipping requests.
• Work cross-functionally to expedite material shortages with procurement, receiving, quality and other production areas.
• Implement material stocking strategy on production lines and monitor floor stock.
• Monitor flow/velocity of jobs through production and ensure on-time completion.
• Disposition MRB and stranded material as needed.
• Enter material transactions in ERP system.
• Prepare for, conduct and assist in reconciliation of cycle counts.
• Knowledge of backflush process.
• Interface with departments as required.
• Must wear PPE as necessary and work in areas with exposure to fumes, dust, or noise.
