Job summary

CTDI is seeking a hands-on supervisor for distribution/logistics to oversee warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, and inventory at a CTDI facility on 2nd shift. You will monitor performance, train staff, and interface with customers to ensure accuracy and timely processing.

The role requires 2–3+ years leading a diverse team in a fast-paced environment, strong organizational and analytical skills, and experience with shipping/receiving processes.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3+ years’ experience supervising a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership ability.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Proactive problem solving ability.
• Strong financial skills/background.
• Intermediate Excel experience and the ability to generate reports.
• Background in telecommunications preferred.
• Knowledge of CTDI systems (ETOS, etc.) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of employees and temporary agency workers responsible for shipping, receiving, and/or inventory processes.
• Maintain customer compliance requirements for accuracy and processing times.
• Train employees on department procedures and processes and ensure they are closely adhered to.
• Coach and motivate employees to meet job expectations.
• Counsel employees on performance metrics and document deficiencies.
• Prepare, maintain, and analyze various customer and internal reports, noting trends and actionable items.
• Prepare action plans for new/existing processes to maximize efficiencies while maintaining quality.
• Work with the Technical Repair department to monitor turnaround and repair interval times.
• Establish usage controls and make necessary adjustments.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
• Research orders for customers and report results.
