Job summary

CTDI is a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company serving major US telecom providers. This second shift supervisor role oversees distribution/logistics processes in a CTDI facility and monitors performance while interfacing with customers.

The position requires leadership of a diverse team, strong analytical and financial skills, and experience with shipping/receiving, inventory control, and reporting. CTDI offers weekly pay, benefits, and a supportive, family-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team responsible for shipping, receiving, and/or inventory processes.
• Maintain customer compliance requirements for accuracy and processing times.
• Train employees on department procedures and processes and ensure adherence.
• Coach and motivate employees to meet job expectations.
• Counsel employees on performance metrics and document deficiencies.
• Prepare attendance records and corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare and analyze reports, noting trends and actionable items.
• Develop action plans to maximize efficiencies while maintaining quality.
• Coordinate with Technical Repair to monitor turnaround and repair intervals.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

Job description

CTDI is a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company that services the country’s largest wireless telecommunications providers, as well as the largest High-speed Internet & Cable providers. This hands-on position will supervise and oversees distribution/logistics processes and implementation of warehouse businesses in a CTDI facility as well as monitoring operational performance levels and regularly interfacing with our customers.

2nd Shift: 3:30PM - 12:00AM, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of employees and temporary agency workers that are responsible for shipping, receiving,and or inventory processes.
• Maintain customer compliance requirements for accuracy and processing times.
• Train employees on department procedures and processes and ensure that the procedures are closely adhered to.
• Coach and motivate employees to meet job expectations.
• Counsel employees on performance metrics and document deficiencies.
• Complete employee attendance records and monitor for adherence to policy. Prepare corrective actions when necessary.
• Prepare, maintain, and analyze various customer and internal reports, noting trends and actionable items.
• Prepare action plans for new and/or existing processes that maximized efficiencies while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
• Works closely with the Technical Repair department to monitor turnaround and repair interval times.
• Establishes usage controls and makes necessary adjustments.
• Generates daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
• Researches orders for customer and reports results.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Intermediate Excel experience and the ability to generate reports.
• Background in telecommunications preferred.
• Knowledge of CTDI systems (ETOS, etc.) a plus.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• 2 to 3+ years’ experience supervising a diverse team in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
• Technical degree or certification strongly preferred.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in warehouse operations and inventory control environment.
• Solid understanding of shipping and receiving processes.
• Experience with RF devices and a solid understanding of a WMS, SAP, and TMS is preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate others.
• Demonstrated management and conflict resolution skills.
