Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Inventory Specialist/Logistician to support a large, fast-paced SAFe program in the Intel sector. You will manage procurements for hardware, software, and services, tracking status and warranties while coordinating with engineering and program teams.

The role requires extensive BOM experience, software licensing knowledge, and the ability to travel locally and nationally. A TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required for consideration.

Qualifications

• BA degree and 12–15 years of experience or a Masters with 10–13 years of experience.
• At least 8 years of IT hardware and software experience.
• At least 5 years of purchase requisitions experience.
• At least 3 years handling Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Proficient with Excel and engineering specification research.
• Experience with hardware/software warranties, maintenance, and support.
• Experience with software licensing models (subscriptions and term licenses).
• Experience creating RMAs using purchase data.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and travel locally and CONUS.

Responsibilities

• Procure software licenses and hardware assets across the full lifecycle.
• Track hardware warranties and software maintenance to prevent lapses.
• Monitor multiple ticket queues and respond within established timelines.
• Maintain Bills of Material and update related data for program requirements.
• Coordinate with buyers and material planners to prioritize urgent requests.
• Maintain hardware inventory reports and databases across distributed nodes.
