Job summary

Kinder’s, based in Walnut Creek, CA, seeks a Senior Inventory Control Manager to lead cross-site inventory strategies and governance. You will standardize processes, drive improvements, and partner with Finance, Planning, Logistics, and 3PLs to protect working capital and service levels.

The role requires deep ERP/WMS experience, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering measurable inventory performance improvements in a fast-growing food-and-beverage environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in inventory control, supply chain, warehousing, or related operations.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience with high-performing teams.
• Experience managing inventory across multiple sites and with 3PL partners.
• Strong expertise in cycle counting, reconciliation, SLOB, and working capital management.
• Experience with ERP/WMS, data governance, and automation initiatives; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-site inventory-control strategy and performance.
• Own the functional roadmap and operating rhythm.
• Standardize network processes for cycle counts and inventory accuracy.
• Establish control routines and escalation thresholds.
• Lead root-cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Planning, Logistics, Operations, and 3PL partners.
• Own KPI dashboards and translate findings into actions.
• Manage the inventory-control operating budget and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Partner with Finance on valuation, reserves, and working capital.
• Manage relationships with 3PL partners and ensure performance.
• Sponsor ERP/WMS improvements and data governance adoption.
• Lead cross-functional inventory initiatives and new-location launches.
• Develop scalable SOPs and training programs.
• Build team capability and succession planning.
