Job summary

The Mosaic Company, a leading fertilizer producer, invites applications for a Services Senior Accountant – Enterprise Business Services. This role supports North American inventory accounting, month-end close activities, and balance sheet reconciliations.

You will partner with finance, accounting, and plant operations to ensure accurate costing, maintain SOX controls, and provide reliable reporting. A Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years of accounting experience are required, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Excellent understanding of GAAP.
• Strong Excel skills and MS Office proficiency.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate monthly close activities, including journal entries, allocations, cost center reviews, reconciliations, and warehouse accruals.
• Account for North American inventory balance sheet activities.
• Prepare and maintain support for inventory balance sheet reconciliations and meet monthly deadlines.
• Maintain SOX controls and integrity of North American inventory accounts.
• Act as primary contact for North American production sites and third-party service providers.
• Collaborate with site finance and plant operations to ensure costing and reporting accuracy.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
