Job summary

The Mosaic Company is a global leader in producing phosphate and potash, with its North American accounting activities centered in the United States. The Accountant for Enterprise Business Services will manage accounting and balance sheet reconciliations for North American operations and coordinate government reporting requirements.

The role requires GAAP proficiency, strong communication, and the ability to work across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or Business with emphasis in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Excellent understanding and familiarity with GAAP and the ability to apply these principles in practice.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead through influence and network.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Accountant for Enterprise Business Services is responsible for the accounting and balance sheet reconciliations for various North American accounting activities, which will include responsibility for various government reporting requirements.

Responsibilities will include participating and coordinating month‑end close processes, ensuring financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures, and preparing and maintaining support of various monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
