Senior Inventory Accountant

Job summary

Tire Discounters, the nation’s largest family-owned tire retailer, seeks a Senior Accountant to ensure accurate financial reporting, close processes, and inventory valuation across our multi-location operations.

You will partner with Operations, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, FP&A, and IT to strengthen controls, resolve variances, and drive improvements in accounting processes and systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years progressive accounting experience including GL, close, reconciliations.
• CPA/CMA or similar designation a plus; retail/inventory experience preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Maintain inventory balances, valuation, COGS, and related reporting.
• Analyze inventory activity and variances with cross-functional partners.
• Support audits and contribute to continuous process improvements.
