Job summary

Motive is seeking a Senior Inventory Specialist to join our Planning & Inventory Team. You will manage inventory transactions across NetSuite and 3PL WMS, coordinating with 3PL partners and traveling weekly to our Louisville, KY warehouse to ensure accuracy and adherence to SOPs.

You will drive process improvements, reconcile data between NetSuite and physical counts, and provide clean inventory data to support S&OP and supply planning decisions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in inventory management, supply chain ops, warehouse systems, or 3PL operations.
• 3PL and warehouse coordination with 3PL providers or warehouse teams.
• Hands-on with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, and at least one WMS/3PL system.
• Experience reconciling system inventory to physical stock; cycle counts; variances.

Responsibilities

• Process, validate, and reconcile inbound PO receipts, put-aways, stock transfers, returns, and inventory adjustments in NetSuite and 3PL WMS.
• Serve as day-to-day contact for 3PL partners, coordinating receiving, storage, fulfillment, transfers, returns, cycle counts, and issue resolution.
• Reconcile NetSuite inventory with 3PL WMS records and physical counts; investigate discrepancies including negative inventory and receiving variances.
• Ensure inventory and warehouse activities follow SOPs, controls, and financial requirements; partner with 3PLs to standardize workflows.
• Track service levels, transaction accuracy, inventory accuracy, timeliness, and SOP adherence; address gaps with 3PL partners.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory, warehouse, and system processes; document and implement improvements for efficiency and scalability.
• Provide timely, accurate, and clean inventory data to support weekly/monthly S&OP, replenishment, and planning decisions.
