Job summary

Storage Solutions Inc in Westfield, IN seeks a Senior Automation Project Manager to independently drive intralogistics implementations from contract signing to system acceptance. You will coordinate internal and external teams, manage budgets, schedules and quality while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include interfacing with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers; maintaining schedules; producing regular reports; and ensuring compliance with cost, quality, and delivery

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, IT or industrial engineering with focus on materials handling/logistics is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years in a project management role, ideally as a general contractor.
• Knowledge of logistics, materials handling, automated warehouse tech, control tech and IT for material flow systems.
• Experience implementing turnkey materials handling and warehouse tech.
• Expert use of MS Office, especially MS Project and Excel; CAD reading ability.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed implementation of intralogistics projects including costs, quality and time.
• Coordinate all project functions and act as interface between customer and partners.
• Maintain updated project schedule and provide weekly and monthly reports.
• Prepare specifications for scope of supply and services; support IT requirements discussions.
• Create risk assessments and assist in commissioning and after-sales transfer.
