Job summary

Themesoft Inc in Austin, TX is seeking a temporary Developer/Programmer Analyst III to lead interoperability and eCR data modernization initiatives. You will conduct needs assessments, build automated data pipelines, and develop dashboards to speed clinical review and data integration across systems.

You will work with epidemiology and technical staff to document technical solutions, validate workflows, and ensure reliable, scalable automation for electronic health data in surveillance workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience developing, testing, maintaining, and troubleshooting SAS, Python, R, or other programming scripts.
• Experience with system integration, dashboards, and automation for interoperability workflows.
• Experience with health or public health data, databases, and querying.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience testing and validating automated data integration workflows.
• Ability to document code and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interoperability needs assessments and document requirements for eICR ingestion and auto-population.
• Develop, test, and maintain SAS, Python, and R programs; build dashboards to support branch processes.
• Test and validate automated workflows; troubleshoot issues and refine solutions.
• Support data interoperability automation and modernization of registries and workflows.
• Collaborate with staff and partners to identify data requirements and recommend future projects.
