Texas Health and Human Services Commission seeks a temporary Developer/Programmer Analyst III to support the TBIRDS by assessing interoperability needs, automating data flows from eICRs, and building dashboards. The role focuses on extracting and validating data, integrating health data across systems, and modernizing surveillance workflows.

The contractor will work with BD ESP staff to document technical processes, ensure data quality, and deliver scalable solutions for automated case reporting

Qualificações

• 8+ years in SAS, Python, R or similar languages.
• Make sure to include development, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• 8+ years in system integration, dashboard creation, and automation for interoperability.
• Experience with health data or public health data is preferred.
• 8+ years working with structured or semi-structured data and databases.
• Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• 8+ years testing/validating automated data-integration solutions.
• Strong documentation of code and workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct interoperability needs assessment and document requirements.
• Develop and test SAS, Python, and R programs; build dashboards.
• Automate data ingestion from electronic case reports into TBIRDS.
• Validate data quality and system integration; troubleshoot issues.
