Job summary

Ampcus, Inc. is seeking a Developer/Programmer Analyst III to support electronic case reporting (eCR) and data interoperability for a birth defects surveillance registry in Austin, TX.

You will conduct needs assessments, automate programming workflows, and build dashboards to improve data processing and operations. Qualifications

• 8+ years SAS/Python/R scripting experience.
• 8+ years system integration & automation to improve interoperability.
• 8+ years working with healthcare data.
• 8+ years databases and querying experience.
• 8+ years reporting and documenting system requirements and solutions.
• 8+ years testing and validating automated data integration.
• 8+ years documenting code, workflows, and procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess needs for integrating eICRs into registry systems and automate data population.
• Document system requirements, workflows, and validation procedures.
• Develop, test, and maintain SAS, Python, R scripts for automation.
• Build dashboards and automated workflows for case triaging and data modernization.
• Integrate data from eICRs into existing registry systems.
• Test and validate workflows, data standardization, and processing methods.
• Troubleshoot programming and integration issues and refine solutions.
• Support incorporation of electronic health data into surveillance workflows.
• Collaborate with program staff and technical partners to document processes.
• Develop technical recommendations for interoperability and modernization.
