Job summary

SOLO World Partners LLC is hiring an International Logistics Manager to oversee the Mexico logistics team and coordinate international shipments with carriers, freight forwarders, customers, and internal departments. Fluency in English and Spanish is required to ensure effective communication across borders.

The role emphasizes independence, sound judgment, and the ability to adapt responsibilities as company needs evolve. Strong ERP and dashboard proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Foreign Trade, Supply Chain Management or Logistics.
• 5+ years of international logistics experience with 3+ years in Mexico maquiladora environments.
• Full professional bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Experience supervising others and coordinating with ERP systems/dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate international shipments with the logistics team, including transport arrangements, tracking, and delivery follow-up.
• Manage team priorities and workloads, provide coaching and performance feedback, and participate in daily logistics activities.
• Work with carriers, freight forwarders, and customers to confirm arrangements and address documentation needs (Carta Porte).
• Obtain and compare freight quotes, review charges, and recommend rates, carriers, routes or changes for approval.
• Resolve shipment delays and coordinate alternatives, escalating risks when needed.
• Coordinate shipment timing and documentation with planning, customs brokerage, and trade compliance teams; gather information for pedimentos and MVE.
• Support IMMEX and Anexo 24/30 by providing records and following up on discrepancies.
• Provide transportation records for compliance reviews or customs inquiries under trade compliance supervision.
• Use ERP systems and dashboards to monitor shipments and performance.
