Pegasus Logistics Group seeks an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to oversee national operations, enforce procedures, and drive efficiency across Mexico and LATAM markets. You will lead the Logistics Operations department, train staff, manage KPI dashboards, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure compliance with Quality Management System standards.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in logistics/operations, strong English skills, and proven leadership.

Formación

  • 3+ years of related experience in logistics/operations management.
  • Proficiency in English (reading/writing/speaking) required.
  • Experience supervising a team and conducting performance evaluations.

Responsabilidades

  • Monitor and enforce operation procedures, policies, and standards for national operations.
  • Provide direct support to senior management in Mexico and LATAM.
  • Train and qualify personnel; conduct evaluations; promote staff development.

Job Profile Summary:This position is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the execution of procedures, policies, guidelines, standards, and customer requirements to ensure the efficiency and productivity of national operations. As well as supervising the Logistics Operations department and ensuring the professional, personal, and disciplinary development of the team in charge.Major Duties and Responsibilities:Implementation of operation processes, policies, guidelines, and standards that ensure operational efficiencyRegulate, monitor, and control the operation through monthly key performance indicators, focused on continuous improvement both internally and externally (customers and suppliers)Provide direct support to the Managing Director, Mexico, and the Managing Director, LATAMTrain and qualify the personnel involved in the operation (Operatives and Supervisors)Work under the parameters and standards of quality, legislation, and compliance of the company and the countryPromote the personal and professional development of the department, as well as carry out performance evaluationsRecognize achievements and good performance of the staff in chargePreparation and involvement with sales/customer for the SOP’sConduct regular meetings in conjunction with the Sales Department and follow-up calls with customersDevelop presentations of QRR for key accountsEvaluate, negotiate, and improve rates with the company’s suppliersComply with the requirements of the company’s Quality Management SystemRequired Skills, Experience, and Education:3 years of related experienceBachelor’s Degree in Customs Administration, Business Administration, International Trade, or Industrial/Logistics EngineeringProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsProficiency in English, including the ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English, is required for this positionDesired Skills, Experience, and Education:Pricing/Solutions knowledgeKnowledge of Customs formalities -Tic@Advance knowledge in the consolidation of air and ocean cargo operations.Customs legislation knowledgeBasic cargo certificationHandling of dangerous goods - DG certificationManagement systems basic knowledgeKnowledge in Logistics MarketEffective communication with internal and external customersDecision-making capacityWork under pressureNegotiation abilityPhysical Requirements:Remain in a stationary/seated position for an extended periodRegularly required to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and other office machinerySpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer workThe ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other soundsPegasus Logistics Group is breaking the mold and we want employees as passionate and diverse as we are.Pegasus Logistics Group is an equal opportunity employer and we value diversity at our company.
