Job summary

Slide is seeking a Logistics Lead to own domestic and international shipping end to end. You will set processes, ensure compliance, and stay hands-on with fulfillment, carrier management, and inventory flow.

You should have deep international shipping experience, knowledge of Incoterms, and the ability to scale a logistics function as Slide grows. This senior IC role offers an opportunity to influence shipping operations in a security-first BCDR MSP environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in logistics or supply chain with international shipping experience.
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms, HS classification, and export controls.
• Experience preparing commercial invoices and customs paperwork for international shipments.
• Hands-on experience with UPS WorldShip/WorldPort.
• Proven ability to manage carrier relationships and pallet moves.
• Detail-oriented with accurate serial, order, and tracking data.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable communicator in a small, fast-moving team.

Responsibilities

• Own outbound shipping operations for finished systems and RMAs, domestic and international.
• Serve as in-house expert on international shipping rules and regulations.
• Ensure customs documentation accuracy and compliance with EAR and OFAC.
• Manage carrier relationships and rate negotiations; oversee WorldShip/WorldPort.
• Coordinate freight, palletized shipments, LTL, and bulk moves.
• Resolve customs holds and carrier issues; liaise with brokers.
• Identify cost-saving tariff classifications and trade programs.
• Ensure shipping and inventory systems linkage.
• Set packing standards for high-value electronics.
• Own inbound receiving, inventory counts, and stock location accuracy.
• Maintain shipping SOPs and audit-ready records.
• Collaborate with assembly, operations, and finance on costs and schedules.
• Track KPIs: on-time delivery, costs, delays, damage, inventory.
• Identify opportunities to automate and scale shipping workflows.
• Train and mentor Logistics Associates; set quality bar.
