Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee domestic and international logistics within a manufacturing environment. You will supervise warehouse personnel and coordinate with Sales, Operations, and EHS while managing freight providers, costs, and documentation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, at least five years of logistics experience in manufacturing, and hands-on inventory management. Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft 365 is essential.

Qualifications

• International logistics/shipping experience.
• Hands-on inventory management experience.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.

Responsibilities

• Direct shipping and receiving activities for domestic and international orders.
• Manage the shipment of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Develop shipping and storage strategies based on material restrictions and requirements.
• Coordinate with EHS for safe storage of reactive chemicals.
• Receive and verify raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
• Oversee warehouse operations and supervise Warehouse Operators.
• Review material receipts against purchase orders and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Ensure products and materials are properly labeled, stored, and documented.
• Evaluate freight carriers, monitor freight costs, and manage invoices.
• Manage departmental costs within budgets.
• Maintain warehouse safety and industrial hygiene standards and seek efficiency improvements.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, safety, and continuous learning within the department.
