Job summary

Alpha and Omega Semiconductor (AOS) in Hillsboro, OR seeks a Material & Logistics Coordinator to manage international import/export shipments, documentation, freight coordination, and customs compliance, ensuring timely delivery and accurate records.

The role requires 3–5 years in international logistics and an AAS or higher in Supply Chain/Logistics or related field. Proficiency with HTS, Incoterms, and ERP systems (Oracle preferred) is expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of international logistics experience.
• AAS degree or higher in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
• Working knowledge of HTS classifications, country of origin, Incoterms, commercial invoices, customs documentation, and import/export compliance requirements.
• Experience with ERP systems; Oracle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate international import/export shipments and required documentation.
• Ensure accuracy of invoices, packing lists, HTS codes and country of origin.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Support compliance with import/export and customs requirements.
• Track shipments and resolve delays or documentation issues.
• Plan freight and transportation to meet delivery, cost targets.
• Maintain shipment records for traceability and audits.
• Review freight invoices and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Warehouse on receiving, staging, and shipping priorities.
• Assist with logistics procedures and root-cause investigations.
• Monitor performance and drive improvements in lead times and freight costs.
• Provide backup support for warehouse and logistics activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
