Job summary

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Senior Analyst for our Internal Sales & Service team in the Columbus area. This hybrid role involves building strategic relationships with financial professionals and supporting sales goals through consultative advising.

You will partner with multiple contacts across the sales process, with opportunities for growth and cross-selling, while meeting territory objectives and client needs.

Qualifications

• Education: Undergraduate degree in human ecology, business, finance, communications, marketing or related field preferred.
• License/Certification/Designation: FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 licenses required. Associate must obtain the required licenses/registrations within the time period designated by the business unit.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in a sales-driven position.

Responsibilities

• Initiates daily contacts to targeted business partners to build relationships and advise based on client needs.
• Develops and grows strategic partnerships to meet territory performance requirements.
• Determines viability of business partners based on client and business needs.
• Responds to requests from business partners and internal sales with materials such as illustrations, proposals and rider information.
• Advices on product and procedural modifications to meet partner needs.
• Engages partners to retain business and support campaigns and cross-selling opportunities.
