Job summary

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company in Columbus, OH offers a 12-week summer internship in Personal Lines Sales & Distribution Direct. You’ll gain exposure to sales strategy, analytics, and process improvement while supporting campaigns and building dashboards.

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Risk Management & Insurance, Communications, Data Analytics, Liberal Arts, or a related field.
Completion of sophomore or junior year preferred.
Involvement in student organizations, leadership activities, internships, or other relevant experiences preferred.

Responsibilities

Learn fundamentals of Direct Sales and Retention operations and how sales teams drive results.
Support strategic initiatives and special projects with the NSS team.
Analyze sales and retention data to identify trends and insights.
Develop reports, presentations, and dashboards to inform decisions.
Utilize AI, automation tools, and Salesforce to support initiatives.
Contribute to campaigns, process improvements, and operational efforts.
