Blue Origin in Denver, CO is hiring a Level 4 Harnessing and Packaging Engineer to own internal harnessing and electronics packaging from ideation through high-rate production for the TeraWave product. You will design, analyze, and release assemblies using state-of-the-art CAD tools and lead supplier collaboration.

The role emphasizes manufacturability, reliability, and scalability while mentoring junior engineers and influencing design for cost and performance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years designing and delivering electronics packaging and/or harnessing for complex systems.
• Experience transitioning prototypes to high-rate production.
• Proficiency with DFM/DFA and cost-reduction methods.
• Strong 3D CAD skills (Creo/SolidWorks).
• Knowledge of harness manufacturing and IPC/WHMA-A-620 quality standards.
• US citizenship or eligible to work in the US.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, integration, and production readiness of internal harnessing and packaging for the TeraWave product.
• Embed DFM/DFA principles across the design cycle for harnesses, enclosures, PCBA, and assemblies.
• Oversee transition from low-rate builds to high-rate production.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers to define processes, tooling, and test procedures.
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings for harnesses and enclosures; perform component trade studies.
• Coordinate with external suppliers to ensure design intent and manufacturability.
• Mentor junior engineers on harness design and manufacturing best practices.
