Rocket Mortgage in Detroit seeks a Senior Events Manager for Rocket Pro to lead strategy and execution of internal events. You will be the primary decision-maker, shaping event concepts, attendee experience, and budgets in partnership with Rock Events.

You will independently drive event direction, collaborate with senior leaders, and ensure alignment with Rocket Pro objectives and budget considerations. This role requires strong leadership and cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full-time experience in corporate event management or related roles.
• Demonstrated experience leading event strategy and high-level decisions independently.
• Experience working with senior leadership and managing executive expectations.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple events, priorities, and cross-functional relationships.
• Experience overseeing event budgets, creative direction, and attendee experiences.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact and decision-maker for Rocket Pro internal events, partnering with Rock Events.
• Lead the overall event strategy, vision, and direction for Rocket Pro internal events, including leadership meetings and celebrations.
• Independently evaluate event needs and make decisions on concepts, programming, attendee experience, and execution.
• Present significant event recommendations and budget considerations to Rocket Pro senior leadership for review.
• Partner with Rock Events to communicate objectives and ensure successful planning and execution.
• Act as the central decision-making resource for Rock Events throughout planning.
• Collaborate with Rocket Pro leadership to translate business priorities into event experiences.
• Establish and oversee the Rocket Pro internal event calendar and resource planning.
• Work with Rock Events to establish budgets and ensure financial alignment with goals.
• Review and approve concepts, agendas, and attendee experiences for consistency with vision.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and provide clear progress updates to leadership.
• Identify risks and proactively adjust plans to keep events on track.
• Provide onsite leadership for key Rocket Pro events and ensure a positive attendee experience.
• Evaluate event success and gather feedback for future improvements.
• Build relationships with Rocket Pro leadership and Rock Events to ensure collaboration.
