Job summary

Rocket Companies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Events Manager for Rocket Pro to lead strategy, direction, and oversight of all internal events.

You will serve as the primary decision-maker and contact for Rocket Pro events, collaborating with senior leadership and the Rock Events team. You will own event planning decisions, escalate significant decisions to senior leadership, and ensure events align with business objectives and budget considerations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full-time experience in corporate event management, event strategy, or related roles.
• Demonstrated experience independently leading event strategy and making high-level event decisions.
• Experience working directly with senior leadership and managing executive-level expectations.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact and decision-maker for all Rocket Pro internal events, representing the business with Rock Events.
• Lead the overall event strategy, vision, and direction for Rocket Pro internal events, including leadership meetings and celebrations.
• Independently evaluate event needs and make informed decisions regarding event concepts, programming, attendee experience, and creative direction.
• Present significant event recommendations and budget considerations to Rocket Pro senior leadership for review and final approval.
• Partner closely with Rock Events to communicate objectives and ensure successful planning and execution.
• Act as the central decision-making resource for Rock Events, providing timely feedback and direction.
• Collaborate with Rocket Pro leadership to translate business priorities into meaningful event experiences.
• Oversee the Rocket Pro internal event calendar, evaluate requests and resource needs.
• Work with Rock Events to establish event budgets and review costs.
• Review and approve event concepts, agendas, programming and attendee experiences for consistency with Rocket Pro vision.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate progress, budgets and challenges to senior leadership.
• Identify risks and resolve challenges to keep events on track.
• Provide onsite leadership and oversight for key Rocket Pro events in partnership with Rock Events.
• Evaluate event success, gather feedback, and recommend improvements for future events.
• Build and maintain relationships with Rocket Pro leadership and Rock Events for alignment.
