Job summary

Rocket Mortgage, a Detroit-based company, is seeking a Senior Events Manager for Rocket Pro to lead internal event strategy, direction, and execution in collaboration with Rock Events and senior leadership. The role drives events that align with business objectives, leadership expectations, and budgets, while shaping the Rocket Pro experience.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full-time experience in corporate event management or related roles.
• Experience leading event strategy independently and making high-level decisions.
• Experience with executive-level leadership and managing expectations.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple events, competing priorities, and cross-functional relationships.
• Experience overseeing event budgets, creative direction, and overall event experiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact and decision-maker for Rocket Pro internal events.
• Lead event strategy, vision, and direction for Rocket Pro events.
• Independently evaluate event needs and decide on concepts, programming, attendee experience, and execution.
• Present significant recommendations and budget considerations to Rocket Pro senior leadership for review.
• Partner with Rock Events to communicate objectives and ensure successful planning and execution.
• Provide onsite leadership for key Rocket Pro events and coordinate with Rock Events.
• Evaluate event success, gather feedback, and recommend improvements.
