Job summary

Blue Shield of California seeks an Internal Controls Advisory Services Consultant to provide objective consulting, strengthening the organization’s control environment and enabling enterprise-wide oversight. You will partner with business functions to ensure effective control execution and reporting in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Minimum of 7 years of prior relevant experience.
• Internal Audit or SOX compliance experience with understanding of controls and impact to processes.
• Experience supporting control automation initiatives or integrating controls with technology.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders to adopt standardized controls across lines of business.
• Experience in data analytics and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel).
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, hybrid environment; health insurance industry experience preferred.
• CIA or CISA certification preferred.
