UC San Diego Health seeks a Senior Communications Manager, Team Member Engagement, reporting to the Senior Director of Executive Communications. You will develop and execute internal comms strategies that inform, engage and support team members across the health system.

Responsibilities include creating internal plans, drafting content for SharePoint and Emma, coordinating reviews, and leading annual campaigns such as wellness, safety surveys, and town halls.

Qualifikationen

• Nine (9) years of related experience, education/training, OR a bachelor's degree in a related area plus five (5) years of related experience/training.
• Proven knowledge of all aspects of communications, including strategic planning for various media venues and the technical requirements of venues.
• Advanced knowledge of communications technology and ability to guide staff or perform technical work.
• Strong understanding of the organization’s mission, goals, policies, and infrastructure.
• Ability to create and implement long- and short-term strategic communication plans.
• Experience advising leaders on diverse communications needs and sensitive issues.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with strong listening abilities.
• Excellent analytical, critical-thinking and project-management skills.
• Thorough knowledge of appropriate protocols for engaging with internal/external audiences.

• Develop internal communication plans and briefs for multiple audiences.
• Draft and edit content for internal channels and manage stakeholder reviews.
• Coordinate distributions using SharePoint and Emma to promote awareness and participation.
• Lead annual campaigns including wellness, safety surveys, awards and town halls.
• Prepare leadership messaging and supervisory aids for managers.
• Serve as backup managing editor for weekly updates.
• Translate complex information into clear, actionable content across platforms.
