Job summary

K&L Gates is seeking a Senior Specialist, Executive and Internal Communications to support a growing internal communications team in the US. The role focuses on planning, content refinement, channel management, and daily execution across firmwide communications.

Responsibilities include managing the editorial calendar, publishing newsletters, and collaborating with HR, Digital, and other teams to advance projects while safeguarding confidential information and upholding firm standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong emotional intelligence and ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent written and editing skills for multiple audiences.
• 2–5 years internal/corporate communications experience in professional services.

Responsibilities

• Draft and edit internal communications and plans.
• Manage editorial calendar, priorities, deadlines and risks.
• Oversee internal communications dashboards and channels.
• Lead newsletter creation, timelines and publication.
• PM of communications projects, coordinating contributors and actions.
• Publish content across internal channels with accuracy and alignment.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across the firm globally.
• Ensure accessibility, clarity, and consistency of communications.
• Leverage technology to improve templates, processes, and governance.
• Maintain relationships with Client Growth, HR, Digital, Tech teams.
