Job summary

K&L Gates is seeking a Senior Specialist, Executive and Internal Communications to join our US office. The role focuses on improving how employees stay informed and engaged, combining governance with hands‑on writing, editing, and execution.

You will influence firmwide communications and shape team standards. Reporting to the Director, Executive and Internal Communications, you will work with HR, Digital, Technology, and other teams to manage priorities, deadlines, and content across channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrate strong writing and editing across audiences.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent organization and project management skills.
• Proficiency with AI and Microsoft tools.
• Experience navigating multiple projects and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Draft and edit internal communications and plans.
• Maintain editorial calendar and deadlines.
• Manage internal communications dashboards and timelines.
• Oversee firmwide newsletter creation and publication.
• Lead project management of communications campaigns.
• Publish content across internal channels with accuracy.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align with firm standards.
• Improve templates, workflows, and governance with tech.
• Collaborate with HR, Digital, Tech, and other teams.
