Job summary

Cushing Terrell is seeking a Senior Internal Communications Manager to lead how the firm communicates with its people across 17 offices. The role reports to the Chief People Officer and serves as a trusted advisor on employee communications, culture, and change communications.

Day-to-day work blends writing, editing, and advising—draft leadership messages, plan internal communications for growth, update intranet content, and coordinate with the People team on announcements. Based in Boise, Idaho.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in internal, corporate, or employee communications.
• Experience advising senior leaders and developing executive communications.
• Demonstrated experience leading employee communications through organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Lead the firm-wide internal communications strategy and editorial calendar across offices.
• Plan, write, edit, and distribute announcements, campaigns, and employee stories.
• Develop executive messages, talking points, and all-firm meeting communications.
• Create and maintain playbooks for growth, integration, and day-one messaging.
• Advise People team and leaders on internal communications and emergencies.
• Manage channels, templates, and governance across intranet, email, Teams, and video.
• Develop recruitment marketing content and ensure consistent internal/external brand voice.
• Measure reach and engagement, manage budget, and recommend channel improvements.
