Job summary

Motive is seeking an Internal Communications Lead (individual contributor) to guide how we inform, align, and inspire employees across the company. You will own Motive's internal narrative, shaping messaging that explains strategy and priorities to staff.

You’ll lead All Hands planning and multi-channel storytelling, partnering with executives to sharpen voice and presence. You'll build a modern video-first approach, ensure messaging consistency, and drive engagement across Slack, email, and

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in internal, corporate, or executive communications at a high-growth company.
• Proven experience producing All Hands and executive forums from narrative to delivery.
• Hands-on experience building video communications and multi‑channel employee engagement programs.
• Strong executive presence, advising and writing for C-suite leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and execution of Motive's internal communications program to inform, align, and engage employees during updates and changes.
• Lead planning, narrative, and production for All Hands and company-wide forums, from talking points to delivery.
• Build and grow internal video communications, including executive updates and milestone recaps.
• Develop new channels and cadence to reach employees beyond one-off announcements.
• Own internal channels (Slack, email, video) with precise targeting and timing.
• Draft and refine executive communications, including CEO messages and briefing materials.
• Partner with Legal and Corporate Communications on proactive and reactive plans for sensitive announcements.
• Ensure internal-first alignment so messaging appears before or with external channels.
• Develop feedback mechanisms to measure sentiment and improve programs over time.
• Build relationships with executives and cross-functional leaders as a trusted advisor.
