Job summary

Apogee Architectural Metals seeks a Senior Internal Communications and Change Management Specialist to develop and execute messages that engage employees, align with business priorities, and support organizational change. The role partners with HR, leaders, and cross-functional teams to translate strategy into clear, actionable content.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer and trusted advisor to leaders, capable of tailoring messages for different audiences and channels while ensuring clarity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive communications experience in a complex environment.
• Experience translating direction into clear employee messaging for multiple channels.
• Experience supporting senior leaders and translating complex business information into communications.

Responsibilities

• Support senior leaders in developing communication approaches aligned with priorities.
• Translate executive direction into messages, talking points, FAQs, and presentations.
• Provide guidance to improve clarity, consistency, and audience relevance.
• Develop and manage employee communication plans and calendars.
• Write and edit executive messages, newsletters, and leadership updates.
• Coordinate content across channels (SharePoint, newsletters, websites, town halls).
• Partner with HR, Operations, Marketing, IT and others to align messages.
