Job summary

Argo, a property and casualty insurance brand under Clearbrook Holdings Inc., seeks a Senior Internal Auditor to execute ICFR/SOX, risk-based audits, and data analytics. You will test controls, coordinate with IT, and drive remediation while supporting governance and external auditors.

This 100% in-office role requires strong analytical skills, SOX/ICFR expertise, and leadership to manage multiple audits. Travel up to 15% may be required; professional certifications like CPA/CIA/CISA are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, information systems, data science, or related field.
• At least five years of relevant experience in public accounting, internal audit, SOX/ICFR compliance, or related.
• Demonstrated SOX/ICFR experience including scoping, walkthroughs, control design assessment, testing, deficiency evaluation, remediation monitoring.
• Working knowledge of COSO framework, ERM concepts, risk assessment practices.
• Ability to lead audit workstreams, coordinate stakeholders, apply professional skepticism, and influence improvements.

Responsibilities

• Execute and coordinate financial, operational, compliance, and integrated audits.
• Assess risks, define objectives and scope, and develop risk-based audit programs.
• Conduct planning, fieldwork, analytics, control testing, and other audit procedures.
• Prepare clear, well-supported workpapers meeting professional standards.
• Identify control issues and improvement opportunities with actionable observations.
• Communicate engagement status, significant issues, conclusions, and report content.
