Job summary

Clearbrook Holdings Inc. is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to execute ICFR and SOX activities, perform risk-based audits, and coordinate remediation efforts.

This is a 100% in-office role located in New York, with responsibilities spanning governance, data analytics, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in internal audit or SOX/ICFR, strong understanding of COSO, and the ability to lead audit workstreams while maintaining independence and skepticism.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of relevant experience in public accounting, internal audit, SOX/ICFR compliance, or related fields.
• Working knowledge of COSO Internal Control—Integrated Framework and risk assessment practices.
• Ability to lead audit workstreams and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Execute and coordinate financial, operational, compliance, and integrated audits.
• Develop risk-based audit programs and objectives; perform fieldwork and testing.
• Communicate findings, assist with remediation follow-up, and support external auditors.
