Job summary

Amazon's Internal Audit team seeks a Senior Audit Manager for AWS to oversee risk assessment activities and a portfolio of audits. You will interact with senior leaders, influence the audit pipeline, and guide a cross-functional team across technical, operational and financial audits.

You will manage end-to-end audits, sponsor resources, and develop audit professionals, while upholding high standards and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of risk management, audit, legal, compliance or related field work including engaging with external stakeholders experience
• 7+ years of team management with 5 or more direct reports experience
• Experience in risk management, audit, legal, compliance or a related field including engaging with external stakeholders
• Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment
• Experience working within a global company, with multi-country responsibilities
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Lead Internal Audit risk assessment activities across AWS.
• Sponsor and oversee a portfolio of audits.
• Develop and coach Audit Managers, Lead Auditors and Auditors.
• Interact with senior leaders to influence audit pipeline and resources.
