Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced internal audit professional to scale its Global Internal Audit organization. You will lead high-judgment audits, coach teams, and drive continuous improvement in risk management, governance, and internal controls across the company.

You will partner across levels of the IA team, translate data into insights for senior leadership, and operationalize key mechanisms with a bias for action. This role demands autonomy, strong communication, and delivery with impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience with auditing, risk management, compliance, and/or quality and program management.

• Act as a key interface across all levels of the global IA team.
• Coach and mentor audit team members, identify training needs, and stay updated on industry best practices.

• Drive continuous improvement to processes and standards while inventing and simplifying them.
• Own programs and initiatives across the department, including regulatory inquiries and stakeholder reporting.
