Job summary

Amazon Inc. seeks a Senior Audit Manager to oversee Internal Audit risk assessment and a portfolio of audits across AWS. You will partner with senior leaders, translate complex processes into risk insights, and drive improvements with strong judgment and leadership.

You will manage a team of Audit Managers, Lead Auditors and Auditors, develop talent, and ensure high-quality audits that address critical opportunities and risks across the business. Travel up to 20% is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of risk management, audit, legal, compliance or related field work with external stakeholders
• 7+ years of people management with 5+ direct reports
• Experience in risk management, audit, legal, compliance across global contexts
• Experience implementing lean principles and process improvements in an operational environment
• Experience working in a global company with multi-country responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Lead Internal Audit risk assessment activities across AWS
• Sponsor and oversee a portfolio of audits
• Develop and coach Audit Managers, Lead Auditors, and Auditors
• Partner with stakeholders to define effective risk mitigation plans
• Manage end-to-end audit projects and resource allocation
