Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Senior Audit Manager to oversee internal audits and risk assessment activities across AWS. You will build relationships with senior leaders, sponsor audits, and guide a team of Audit Managers, Lead Auditors, and Auditors to deliver high-quality, value-added audits.

In this high-visibility role, you will manage end-to-end audit projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and influence improvements across the business while traveling up to 20%.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of risk management, audit, or related field work including engaging with external stakeholders experience.
• 7+ years of team management with 5 or more direct reports experience.
• Experience in risk management, audit, legal, compliance or a related field including engaging with external stakeholders.
• Experience in team management with 5 or more direct reports.
• Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment.
• Experience working within a global company, with multi-country responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead Internal Audit risk assessment activities across AWS.
• Sponsor and oversee a portfolio of audits.
• Develop and mentor Audit Managers, Lead Auditors and Auditors.
• Communicate findings to senior leaders and influence improvements.
