Job summary

Amazon in Seattle, WA seeks a Senior Internal Auditor to join the Worldwide Amazon Stores Internal Audit team. You will execute operational, IT and compliance audits across diverse businesses and environments, translating risks into business issues and driving remediation with stakeholders.

You will manage multiple audits end-to-end, reporting to leadership, and contributing to continuous improvement in a fast-paced, Day 1 culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years in compliance, governance, audit, risk or equivalent.
• CPA/CMA/CISA/CIA or equivalent credentials.
• Experience with data analytics.
• Understanding of control frameworks (COSO/COBIT/ISO/NIST).

Responsibilities

• Execute project plans, prepare written findings, and drive action items.
• Develop meaningful findings with root cause remediation.
• Facilitate stakeholders to agree on solutions and verify mitigations.
• Prepare reports for senior management and Audit Committee.
• Represent Internal Audit to meetings and committees.
• Produce documentation for internal/external requests.
