Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager for Intermodal (AZIM) to lead cost optimization, automation, and data-driven improvements across the intermodal network. You will translate complex data into actionable strategies that reduce cost, improve reliability, and speed.

You will own initiatives from opportunity identification through implementation with Tech, Product, Finance, and Operations, delivering measurable impact for Amazon's freight network.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cross-functional collaboration with tech and non-tech teams.
• 5+ years of team management experience.
• 5+ years of program, project management, and cross-functional delivery experience.
• 2+ years of supply chain experience.
• Experience defining program requirements and using data/metrics to determine improvements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze intermodal cost drivers to identify and prioritize high-value savings opportunities.
• Partner with Tech and Product teams to translate operational pain points into automation requirements.
• Design and iterate on scorecards, automated workflows, and alerting systems.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses on network performance, cost trends, and inefficiencies to uncover root causes.
• Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing, Finance, and Operations to align optimization with broader strategy.
• Develop and present regular performance reviews to senior leadership with quantified impact.
