Job summary

Amazon’s Intermodal (AZIM) Operations team is seeking Transportation Specialists to join a rapidly growing group. The role drives end-to-end operational execution of loads in our 1P network and supports regions and carriers to ensure on-time pickup and delivery from FCs, rail yards and shipper hubs.

Qualifications

1+ years using computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook/Word/Excel).
High school diploma or equivalent.
Willing to work 40 hours/week, including overtime.
18 years or older.
Flexible schedule including weekends/nights/holidays.

Responsibilities

Deliver excellent carrier/driver experience in a high-volume center, researching issues and restoring on-track movements.
Work in a fast-paced environment, adhering to schedules for start/stop and breaks.
Support surges and overtime during high-volume peaks.
Use internal systems to gather data for daily/weekly/monthly reporting.
Support field teams by creating repair requests and monitoring loads.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate insights across stakeholders.
Assist drivers and carriers with over-the-road disruptions.
Your calls will be monitored and recorded for training and compliance.
