Job summary

HLW International in New York, NY, seeks a Senior Project Architect (Interiors) to lead technical development, coordination, and documentation for interior architecture projects from programming to construction administration.

The role demands deep project-delivery experience, strong Revit skills, and a collaborative leadership approach to guide internal teams and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of professional architectural experience, with a focus on workplace interiors.
• Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Strong proficiency in Revit.
• Experience with MS Office and project management platforms (Newforma or Procore preferred).
• Demonstrated success delivering high-quality interior projects in commercial/workplace environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on one or more projects through all design and construction phases.
• Direct development of drawing sets and construction documents aligned with client goals and HLW standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, design leaders, and consultants to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Coordinate with MEP, lighting, and structural teams to resolve conflicts and optimize performance.
• Lead internal quality control and support specification development.
• Participate in risk assessment and manage constructability, code compliance, and scope issues.
