Job summary

HOK is seeking a senior Interior Design and Project Leadership role to guide design direction across sectors, mentor staff, and maintain strong client relationships. You will oversee contracts, budgeting, design execution, documentation, and construction administration, ensuring alignment with project goals and HOK's standards.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in interior design with 5+ years in project management, proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD/Adobe, and LEED accreditation within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in interior design, architecture, or related discipline required.
• NCIDQ certification required.
• If registered as an Architect, NCARB registration is preferred.
• LEED accreditation required within 12 months of employment.
• 10+ years' experience in Interior Design with 5 years PM experience in all phases of projects through post-occupancy.
• Experience in offices, airports, hospitals, sports venues, schools, labs, and other commercial ventures.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of high-quality, innovative design concepts aligned with client objectives, brand identity, and budget.
• Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle from contract negotiation to construction administration.
• Assess material needs and costs, coordinate bid processes, and support subcontracting for fabrication and logistics.
• Facilitate collaboration across disciplines, vendors, and contractors to meet goals and requirements.
• Provide leadership and strategic direction to the design team; mentor junior staff.
