Qualifications

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required.
5+ years designing interior subsystems and associated parts.
5+ years using 3D CAD software in a collaborative environment.
2+ years leading a team.
3+ years in production release and factory launches.
System-level management experience.

Responsibilities

Create interior system requirements and specs with cross-functional teams.
Set targets for function, cost, weight, and investment.
Develop 3D geometry and innovative concepts for crash load cases.
Optimize designs with analytical and physical assessments per regs.
Deliver GD&T compliant craftsmanship and fit/finish.
Study and implement novel construction techniques for production feasibility.
Coordinate with Studio, Packaging, Advanced Engineering, Manufacturing, and Suppliers.
Present concepts and status to senior management and company staff.
