Job summary

Valenti Builders in Chicago is seeking an experienced Project Manager to ensure successful execution of commercial interior construction projects. You will lead client coordination, manage internal/external teams, and drive schedule, budget, and risk mitigation with a focus on collaboration and quality.

The role emphasizes mentoring staff, fostering strong relationships with architects and clients, and advancing project outcomes through proactive planning and communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of related project management experience.
• BS in Construction Engineering/Management (or related field) preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal capabilities.
• Thorough understanding of industry practices and BIM/Revit experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan Preconstruction: preliminary estimates, schedules, logistics.
• Negotiate bid packages with subcontractors.
• Ensure accuracy of change orders and pricing with subs.
• Oversee monthly pay apps and weekly field costs dedications.
• Manage overall project finances including forecasting.
• Lead value engineering and cross-functional collaboration.
