Job summary

Pepper Construction Group in Illinois seeks a driven Sr. Project Manager to lead complex, high-value interior construction and tenant improvement projects. You will own the project from preconstruction through closeout, drive financial performance, and build high-performing teams.

Candidates will manage budgets, coordinate with architects and subcontractors, and ensure client satisfaction on projects ranging from $20M to over $50M. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of construction management experience across diverse markets with significant experience delivering interior construction and commercial build-out projects.
• Experience working closely with architects, interior designers, consultants, owners, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Establish budgets, value engineer and manage project costs.
• Coordinate subcontractor bidding and documentation flow.
• Plan and schedule projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Lead and mentor project management staff and ensure client satisfaction.
• Deliver interior construction and high-value commercial build-outs.
