Job summary

Valenti Builders is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee Commercial Interior Construction projects in the Chicago area. You will ensure client satisfaction, lead internal and external teams, and mitigate risks to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Applicants should have a minimum of six years in project management, a relevant B.S. degree, and strong client communication skills. BIM/Revit proficiency is required, with opportunities for mentoring and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of related project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering/Management or related field.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
• Thorough understanding of industry practices and BIM/Revit experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Preconstruction Phase planning, including cost estimates, schedules, and logistics.
• Negotiate bid packages with subcontractors.
• Ensure accuracy of change order pricing and subcontractor negotiations.
• Oversee monthly pay applications and field cost reporting.
• Manage overall financials including forecasting and value engineering.
• Develop and maintain project construction schedules and ensure conformance to obligations.
• Provide regular reporting to VP/Principals and interface with client representatives.
• Mentor and train team members and participate in policy development.
