Job summary

Capstone Recruitment Inc. in partnership with an established New York contractor seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead interior fit-out projects in Manhattan.

You will own projects from preconstruction through completion and closeout, taking responsibility for budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractor coordination and clear client communication. The role favors candidates with 5–10 years of relevant GC experience, a degree in construction management, architecture or engineering, and

Qualifications

• Degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of industry experience, including ~5 years with a General Contractor.
• Experience delivering fast-paced interior fit-outs in commercial offices.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, procurement and subcontractor management skills.
• Capable of coordinating with clients and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of commercial interior fit-out projects, controlling scope, cost, programme and quality.
• Develop and manage budgets, schedules and procurement plans.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, architects, designers and consultants.
• Act as main client contact, providing updates and resolving issues.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentation.
• Work with site teams to monitor progress and maintain safety and quality.
• Oversee punch lists, handover and closeout against client expectations.
