Job summary

Farnsworth Group, a nationally recognized architectural, engineering, and surveying firm, is seeking an Interior Designer to join our Peoria, IL posting locations. You will lead design, project administration, and the preparation of construction documentation with a collaborative team of architects and engineers.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in interior design, 5+ years of experience, proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit, and strong client relationship skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in interior design from an accredited program.
• 5+ years of interior design experience.
• NCDIQ certification, preferred.
• Experience in maintaining client relationships.
• AutoCAD and Revit experience, required.
• Sketch-up experience, desired.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design and delivery of the interior aspects of a project including programming client needs, space planning, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
• Participate in the selection and presentation of FF&E, color palettes, and lighting.
• Provide design support and documentation to communicate design ideas from concept to completion including 3D development, graphic presentation, and construction documents.
